St. Matthew's Church Blackmoor & Whitehill

The original Churchyard is the area within the walls. It was extended at the east end just before the second world war. To the north east of the east window and across the path is the SELBORNE PLOT. Here were buried a number of members of the family, together with a few other 'special' people, including Elizabeth Petrie, nurse to the First Earl's children.
